Full design of the M&E services for a new Endoscopy Ward built on the Chase Farm Hospital site.

The project was undertaken on a full design and build basis and was awarded “Outstanding” status and judged “Best in country” by the Joint Advisory Group on GI Endoscopy.

The total construction cost was circa £1.9M.

Timescales
The programme duration was approximately 16 weeks and was completed in December 2015.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital, UCV Operating Theatres

Project Description
Design development of the services installations for two new operating theatres at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn.

The project was undertaken on a full design and build basis.

The total construction cost was circa £1.6M.

Timescales
The programme duration was approximately 32 weeks as the theatres were adjacent to each other and one theatre had to be kept live at all times, the project was completed in November 2016.

GSK Ware, Clean Room Suite HVAC Replacement

Project Description
Working client side within a building services consultancy, delivered the full design and construction management of a replacement HVAC infrastructure to over 70 clean room suites for the Product Development building.

The project involved working within a live building, the project was split into 10 phases to minimise downtime. Innovative energy recovery systems were introduced and Life Cycle costing calculations prepared that demonstrated savings in energy and operational costs of over £15M over the life of the systems.
